Individual Emergency Supplies Are Key to Disaster Survival
Recommendations from FEMA, Homeland Security, the Red Cross all say that we as individuals should keep at least a 2 week supply of emergency supplies. These supplies should also include copies of important documents as well as medicines. Click here for a checklist.
Each resident should review this list of “7 to 10 Day Survival Kit” supplies and then tailor it to meet their individual needs.
SEVEN to Ten DAY SURVIVAL KIT
Prescription medications (10-day supply)
Non-prescription medications (aspirin, Motrin, etc)
First Aid Kit (small and personal)
Change of clothes (extra socks, underwear, etc)
Sturdy, comfortable shoes
Cash money (small bills and coins)
Light jacket, hat or cap
Extra set of house and car keys

Light weight towel and wash cloth
